Daddy's Shoes and other ramblings

Megan Jo, my sweet little 3 1/2 year old, is an absolute Daddy's Girl. And to prove it, here is a picture I took the other day of Megan's shoes. She put shoes into Daddy's shoes. She has done this before with her shoes, with mine too, but I just thought that this was too cute this time around.

We went to my nephew, Alex's, football game over the past two Saturdays. Dan took some pictures on his 35 mm camera that I am still in the process of developing. I will get those posted soon, but here are some I took with my digital camera, so they are not that great.
Alex is the superstar of his team and plays the entire game. Alex's dad, JD, is also one of the coaches for the team. The past two games that we have been to, they have lost, but AJ sure plays his heart out and loves football...

KaMbRiN jO

These pictures of Kambrin Jo, who just turned one, were taken a few weeks ago. I think she is just the sweetest baby girl ever, not to mention that she looks just like her Momma. I scrapped this page this morning and had fun working on it.
I have been downloading all sorts of freebies today and have to tear myself away from the computer for awhile to go to my nephew's football game.

Trying desperately to decorate...

Since we moved in to the new house, I have been racking my brain to come up with decorating ideas. I have tried bribing two incredible ladies (you know who you are) to come and help me... I am stuck. I don't know what it is. I am just not coming up with any cute ideas... Whitey has been kind of enough to not only buy me a cuter than hell flag, but has been emailing me cute ideas, some that I did steal...

But, here are some pictures of what I have done. Although, it's nowhere what I am envisioning, it's at least something...

New Haircuts~~

Earlier this month, the girls got to see their favorite hair-dresser, Kacy Jo. She does my hair too and I love the way she always styles it so cute. The girls love to go get their hair done, almost as much as I do. Anyhow, just a few weeks ago, they both hair cuts and styles. I scrapped a page of their fun little dos.

Thanks Kacy Jo for always taking such good care of our hair. :)

Sturgis 2008

Last weekend, Dan, JD and Jason went to Sturgis. Here are some their pictures that they brought back.

The bikes at Yellowstone Lake

In Yellowstone Park, a herd of buffalo decided to migrate across a bridge while they were riding. Dan snapped these photos of the huge creatures. Dan estimates that they were no more than 8 -9 feet from the buffalo.

My first grader ...

Ashley started school a few weeks ago. She is loving first grade. I am really behind on scrapping and have only now done a page with her first day of school picture. It was such a fun morning. She was really nervous. Being at school all day took a really big toll on her for the first few days, but she is doing better.
She'd come from school totally wiped out and pass out on the couch to sleep for several hours. But now, she seems to have adjusted just fine.
She loves school and her teacher. She is such a super - smart little girl. She loves to learn and read. I love watching get excited to go to school.
